Overview

Marvin Amaya is an Associate Attorney that focuses his practice on consumer protection (“lemon law”).

Before joining Quill & Arrow LLP, Mr. Amaya practiced personal injury and general liability. He also practiced social security disability law for over 10 years where he represented claimants in over two thousand hearings throughout the United States.

Mr. Amaya has experience advocating for individuals who may be vulnerable and ensuring their rights are protected against larger entities. Mr. Amaya is fluent in Spanish which allows him to effectively represent Spanish-speaking clients by ensuring empathetic communication. This allows Mr. Amaya to understand and articulate his client’s needs, concerns and legal issues.

Mr. Amaya obtained his J.D. from Indiana University McKinney School of Law. During law school, he served as Articles Editor for the Indiana International & Comparative Law Review. Mr. Amaya interned at the Indiana Attorney General’s Office and served as judicial intern at the Marion County Superior Court.

Mr. Amaya graduated with pro bono recognition due to the many hours of public service he completed. Prior to law school, Mr. Amaya earned his B.A. degree in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles. Mr. Amaya is licensed to practice law in all of California’s state courts and the United States District Court in the Northern, Central, Eastern and Southern Districts.
