Jennifer Guardado is a Los Angeles native who strives to provide their clients with the most effective and advocative representation. They received their Bachelor’s Degree in philosophy from the University of California, Berkeley, and their Juris Doctor degree from LMU Loyola Law School.
During their time at UC Berkeley, they expanded their legal experience working with underrepresented communities in Oakland at Centerforce, a non-profit organization that catered to rehabilitative needs of prisoners at San Quentin Rehabilitation Center. There, Jennifer assisted in the acquittal of criminal charges for first-time juvenile offenders throughout Alameda county, and they also partnered with San Leandro Juvenile Detention Center to create the Social Injustice and Mass Incarceration course and facilitated it to the center’s detained youth.
Before joining Quill & Arrow, Jennifer also broadened their experience at the ACLU of Southern California, Centro Legal de la Raza, Esperanza Immigration Rights Project, Loyola Law School Youth Education Clinic, Law & Brandmeyer LLP, a medical malpractice firm, and M&Y Personal Injury firm.
Jennifer’s background in philosophy has equipped them with the rational and logical skills necessary to tackle legal issues and it has equipped them with a broad-minded perspective that allows them to find innovative and creative solutions. Moreover, their upbringing in a Salvadoran-American household has generated and fueled their passion to perfect their Spanish-speaking skills and provide the best representation for Spanish-speaking clients. Ultimately, Jennifer’s perseverance, keen attention to preparation, and unwillingness to back down makes them a strong advocate for clients within consumer protection litigation.
Outside of work, Jennifer operates their Los Angeles-based trucking company, and travels to art galleries and museums across the state.
