Mr. Powell graduated summa cum laude from San Diego State University with a dual Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Africana Studies, and an Honors Minor in Interdisciplinary Studies as the Most Outstanding Graduate of the College of Arts and Letters.
After college, Mr. Powell graduated from the University of California Los Angeles with a Juris Doctorate in 2022 with specializations in Critical Race Studies and Public Interest Law and Policy, and was admitted to the California State Bar in 2024. Prior to his attorney role at Quill & Arrow, LLP, Mr. Powell worked in fair housing and employment law. At Quill & Arrow, LLP, Mr. Powell focuses on consumer protection trial preparation.
